About
One verse. Any moment.
Some days a single line of scripture does more than a book could. It meets you exactly where you are — quiet, anxious, hopeful, worn out — and gives you something to hold onto until the next thing.
versepicker is a small tool built around that idea. Type a word for whatever you’re feeling — love, hope, anxiety, strength, forgiveness — or press enter and let the page choose for you. One verse comes back, beautifully typeset, easy to read, easy to share.
There’s no login. No tracking you around the web. No cookie banner. No sermon. Just the verse.
The scripture. We launch with the King James Version because it’s in the public domain and because its serif cadence is, honestly, hard to improve on. More translations — WEB, ASV, BBE — are on the way.
The craft. Every page is typeset in Crimson Pro on warm ivory paper, designed to feel like a quiet book instead of an app. Shared links preview as branded cards, so when you send a verse to a friend, it looks like something worth opening.
