Hebrews 11:1·KJV
9 verses · KJV
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Scripture returns to faith constantly: Abraham's faith credited as righteousness, the centurion's faith that astonished Jesus, Paul's reminder that we walk by faith, not by sight. The verses below span the Old and New Testaments and are the cornerstone passages on trust in God.

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
